Mike Walbridge - Cornet, Leader
Mike has worked with many bands country-wide, both on tuba and cornet. He was with Turk Murphy's San Francisco Jazz Band. He has played tuba with the Salty Dogs since the late 50's and has also led the Foot Warmers for many years.
Eric Schneider - Reeds
Eric plays with many area bands and has had the great experience of touring with Earl Hines and Count Basie. You can often find him at Chicago's Andy's Jazz Club and at many jazz festivals.
Tom Bartlett - Trombone
Tom played with jazz groups in Chile and Panama while in the Army and Peace Corps. When he returned, he rejoined the Salty Dogs in 1969. He is also featured with many local bands including the Red Rose Band and the West End Jazz Band. He teaches elementary school in Waukegan where he helps provide musical instruments to his students.
Don Stiernberg - Banjo, Guitar
While playing with the Jethro Burns Quartet, he shared the stage with Chet Atkins and Steve Goodman. He has also performed with Johnny Frigo, Johnny Gimble and John Carlini. He enjoys teaching, writing, and his work in Chicago recording studios.
Dan Shapira - Bass
A popular bassist, Dan has played with many bands over the years, both local and national. He can often be seen featured at jazz festivals throughout the country.
Bob Cousins - Drums
Bob played with Coleman Hawkins, Roy Eldridge, Bob Wilbur, Kenny Davern and Bob Haggart. He has also been with Fletcher Basington's band. He currently plays with many bands and is always in demand.
